First Thoughts: Here We Go Again

By Dawn in Background Checks, Cheaters, Cheating spouse, Infidelity, Investigations, MSI Detective Services at November 29th, 2011 | No comments

*** “Here we go again”: Herman Cain’s reaction — in advance (talk about a shrinking news cycle!) — to a woman’s allegation that she had a 13-year-old affair with the GOP presidential candidate sums up the state of Cain’s campaign, as well as the state of the Republican horserace: “Here we go again.”

As Cain told CNN before a local Atlanta TV station aired its report of the allegation, “My wife’s reaction was very similar to mine: Here we go again… We will basically show when the details become available that I didn’t do anything wrong.” The multiple sexual-harassment allegations against Cain may not have ruined his candidacy, though they certainly knocked him off message.

His pregnant pause when talking about Libya might not have killed his chances, but it did bring into question his lack of experience and knowledge about world affairs. And this new allegation of an affair might not be the final nail in his political coffin, but we aren’t seeing the same conservatives rallying around Cain that we saw after the sexual-harassment allegations first surfaced. But when you take them all together, it’s pretty clear we’re watching a replay of the “Sixth Sense”: Everyone knows this candidacy is dead, except the campaign. Cain and the allegations have become a sideshow, bordering on a distraction to the rest of the field.

It may be time for Cain to pack-up and go home.

Your Cheating Heart: iPhone App Finds Wife With Another Man

By Dawn in Cheaters, Cheating spouse, gps tracker, Infidelity, MSI Detective Services at October 19th, 2011 | No comments

I found this article that was sent to me yesterday to be very interesting because, just yesterday, I received a pop-up on my cell phone titled, “Track Your Cheating Boyfriend With His Phone Number Via GPS.” I admit this pop-up, gave me the creeps because it seemed like a cryptic message to me. Since it has never occurred to me to secretly install a spy application on anyone’s phone, I was curious and did some research. I learned that most cell phone manufacturers are pushing cellular surveillance applications you can install in cell phones. Some reasons given are innocent, like tracking your children. Other reasons given are to track your significant other if you suspect they are cheating. In addition, if someone can breach your provider’s online account with your password, most providers have a service where you can also track people online via their phone number by GPS.

Here are some excerpts from this story: Read the full article »

Video: ‘Housewives’ Husband Speaks Out on Wife’s Infidelity Scandal

By Dawn in Celebrity, Cheaters, Cheating spouse, Infidelity, Missing Persons, MSI Detective Services at October 12th, 2011 | No comments

The couple who caused a scandal with their uninvited appearance at a 2009 White House state dinner has seized our attention once again when Tareq Salahi reported that his wife Michaele was missing and had been abducted. In fact, Michaele Salahi had run away, it seems — into the open arms of Journey guitarist Neal Schon. For those who don’t follow reality TV (I don’t follow, so I needed to research this one), this couple turned their White House dinner scandal into a reality TV show – The Real Housewives of D.C.

Tareq, the polo-playing aristocrat of the feuding Oasis Winery family, lit up the Internet when he claimed his wife of eight years had gone missing — and that he believed she’d been “kidnapped.” Hours later, the Warren County (Va.) Sheriff’s department released a statement saying they had talked to Michaele, she seemed fine, had willingly left home, and didn’t want her husband to know where she was.

It was later confirmed by a publicist for Journey that Michaele was having an affair with guitarist Neal Schon and was now living with him. Journey, before their recent career resurgence, had played at Salahi-run polo matches. She and Neal Schon had supposedly been in a relationship prior to her marriage to Tareq and Michaele recently realized that she had made the wrong choice in partner.

Tareq Salahi recently appeared on the Matt Lauer show to speak out on this latest family scandal. To watch the interview, go to:  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/44637793#44637793

Currently, another scandal is brewing – more juicy drama for those who enjoy this sort of thing. The couple is now being investigated for alleged charity and business fraud. This couple may eventually wish they had led anonymous lives.

Cheating husband tries to sue wife and PI for placing GPS in car

By admin in court cases, gps tracker, Infidelity, invasion of privacy, Privacy, Private Investigator at July 21st, 2011 | No comments

After a cheating husband, Kenneth Villanova, sued his wife and her private investigator, Richard Leonard, for an invasion of privacy, the New Jersey court ruled against him.

Mr. Villanova argued that his wife was invading his privacy by placing a GPS tracker in his car. The court found that this was not true, since the GPS tracked Mr. Villanova on public streets. The GPS was doing the same job of a person physically following his car, therefore, he cannot expect privacy on public streets.

This case led NJ to make tracking spouses with GPS trackers legal.
