Police Investigating Ex-Fiance in Missing Orlando Woman Case

By Dawn in Investigations, Lie Detection, Locate Investigations, Missing Persons, Missing Persons Investigations, MSI Detective Services at November 30th, 2011 | No comments

Michelle Parker, 33, of Orlando was last seen Nov. 17. She has been missing since that day. It was the day a previously taped episode of “The People’s Court” aired of the case between her and 40-year-old Dale Smith, her ex-fiance. “The People’s Court” episode involved a dispute over a $5,000 engagement ring.

Parker’s abandoned black Hummer was found in an apartment complex off Vineland Road in west Orlando. Parker is a mother of three children.

Parker and Smith are the parents of 3-year-old twins.  She also has an 11-year-old child from a previous relationship.

The only clue, other than the abandoned vehicle, is Parker’s cell phone. Family members said Parker’s brother sent her a text message asking where she was and the reply came back “Waterford.” However, investigators said cell tower records indicated that Parker was never near Waterford.

Chief Paul Rooney said at a news conference Monday that Parker’s ex-fiance, Dale Smith, is being investigated. Smith has refused to take a polygraph test. Police said Parker had a history of violence in her relationship with her ex-fiance. Read the full article »

Newborn Found in Bag in Schaumburg, IL Church Parking Lot

By Dawn in Illinois, Investigations, Locate Investigations, Missing Persons, Missing Persons Investigations, MSI Detective Services, Private Investigator at October 27th, 2011 | No comments

This is an interesting story because this baby was actually left on the top of one of our MSI Detective Investigator’s car. I spoke with the investigator, who wishes to remain anonymous, but was able to get some personal details on this story. I will call him John.

John had just attended his parent’s church for the first time that day - Gospel Presbyterian Church in Schaumburg, IL. When he returned to his car, he found a reusable, canvas bag hanging from his driver’s side mirror. He and his sister opened the bag, but could only see towels and a teddy bear and didn’t want to rifle through somone else’s bag. John brought the bag to the church’s lost and found.

About two hours later, John received a call from the church asking him to return and informing him the police wanted to talk to him about the bag he turned in. When John arrived back at the church, he learned that at some point church members and staff heard a baby crying, but they could not determine where the cries were coming from. Finally, they realized the cries were coming from the bag. They found a 7-pound baby girl of Asian ethnicity tucked underneath the teddy bear and towel, Schaumburg police said.

The baby, a few days old and in good health, according to police, was transported to a local hospital for observation. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services will take custody of her once she has been released.

Another twist in this story is that John’s sister happens to be a sponsor for an orphanage. His sister has been wanting to sponsor a foster child. She is currently working with DCFS to try and make this happen with the baby she and her brother found. I wish her the best of luck and hope she is able to take care of this baby as she now feels a sense of obligation and attachment to the child, which is understandable. Read the full article »

Video: ‘Housewives’ Husband Speaks Out on Wife’s Infidelity Scandal

By Dawn in Celebrity, Cheaters, Cheating spouse, Infidelity, Missing Persons, MSI Detective Services at October 12th, 2011 | No comments

The couple who caused a scandal with their uninvited appearance at a 2009 White House state dinner has seized our attention once again when Tareq Salahi reported that his wife Michaele was missing and had been abducted. In fact, Michaele Salahi had run away, it seems — into the open arms of Journey guitarist Neal Schon. For those who don’t follow reality TV (I don’t follow, so I needed to research this one), this couple turned their White House dinner scandal into a reality TV show – The Real Housewives of D.C.

Tareq, the polo-playing aristocrat of the feuding Oasis Winery family, lit up the Internet when he claimed his wife of eight years had gone missing — and that he believed she’d been “kidnapped.” Hours later, the Warren County (Va.) Sheriff’s department released a statement saying they had talked to Michaele, she seemed fine, had willingly left home, and didn’t want her husband to know where she was.

It was later confirmed by a publicist for Journey that Michaele was having an affair with guitarist Neal Schon and was now living with him. Journey, before their recent career resurgence, had played at Salahi-run polo matches. She and Neal Schon had supposedly been in a relationship prior to her marriage to Tareq and Michaele recently realized that she had made the wrong choice in partner.

Tareq Salahi recently appeared on the Matt Lauer show to speak out on this latest family scandal. To watch the interview, go to:  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/44637793#44637793

Currently, another scandal is brewing – more juicy drama for those who enjoy this sort of thing. The couple is now being investigated for alleged charity and business fraud. This couple may eventually wish they had led anonymous lives.

Man confesses to hitting US woman on Italian Rd.

By admin in Crime, Investigations, Missing Persons, murder at October 7th, 2011 | No comments

The driver of a car that hit and killed an American woman while she was jogging turned himself in Friday after police located the car and discovered it had already been repaired, police said.

A Tuscan businessman, Pietro Stefanoni was questioned for several hours by magistrates Friday, said Carabinieri police Col. Antonio Frassinetto. Stefanoni, 56, told authorities he fell asleep at the wheel on Sunday when it fatally struck Allison Owens , 23, from Columbus, Ohio, news reports said.

Frassinetto said investigators tracked down his Volvo by analyzing speed camera footage of the road and green paint chips on the guardrail near where Owens’ body was found — a canal close to a busy state highway running through the town of San Giovanni Valdarno, between Florence and Arezzo.
